Hosting a Display of The Quilt

Please use the instructions in this section to guide you in either making a panel for the AIDS Memorial Quilt, or for requesting panels of The Quilt for display.

Please read the instructions for Making a Panel before you begin your project. Following these instructions will ensure that the panel you make will last, honoring the person it memorializes for years to come.

If you wish to host a display of panels from the AIDS Memorial Quilt, please begin by reading the Quilt Hosting Instructions. Then complete the Quilt Display Application and submit it online. Print, read and sign the Quilt Release Agreement and bring it with you when you pick up the panels for your display.

If you prefer to make your request for panels to display in writing and by mail, please print and complete the PDF version of the Quilt Display Instructions and Application (contains the entire packet of forms)and mail them to the following address:
